Brother of iconic artist Thornton “Buck” Dial, Arthur Dial’s work is featured in the publications “History Refused to Die: The Enduring Legacy of the African-American Art of Alabama”(Tinwood, 2015), and “Souls Grown Deep: African-American Vernacular Art, Volume 1”(Tinwood, 2000).
